The Online Syllabi Database allows NMU students to view the syllabi of courses prior to registration. The goal of this project is to reduce the number of dropped classes at NMU by allowing students to match their learning styles with the teaching style of professors and to clarify course expectations.
The Online Syllabi Database is a joint effort of the Associated Students of Northern Michigan University (ASNMU) and the faculty of the courses listed in the database. New syllabi are added as we recieve them, so please be sure to check the Online Syllabi Database when researching your courses.

Online Syllabi Database Requirements
To access the Online Syllabi database you must be on an NMU wireless or LAN network. If you are off campus, you must log into Nortel VPN Contivity to access the database. You will not be able to access the database unless you are connected one of these three ways. For technical help, please call the NMU HelpDesk at (906) 227-2468.

ASNMU is not responsible for syllabi content or outdated syllabi. Professors reserve the right to change their syllabi at any time. These syllabi are not binding to any class; please do not use this as a reference for purchasing books or for making any plans regarding the class. This may not represent the syllabi that will be used in your classes. The database is to be treated merely as a reference tool for choosing the class that best matches your learning style.
